The Board of Trustees are responsible for providing a place of worship, taking charge of and protecting the church property with all of its appurtenances in trust for the membership, and to make such improvements as may be necessary from time to time for the interest of the local church.

Buds of Promise
The WH&OMS is made up of women of all ages separated into departments for specific work. The Missionary Ministry is all about mission work. The departments are: Home Missions, Life Members, Parent Body, Supply Department, Buds of Promise, Youth Missionary Department, and Young Adults Missionary Society (Y.A.M.S.).
The Steward Board, under the leadership of the Preacher's Steward take account of monetary responsibilities, including tithes, and contributions received for support of the church and the pastor's family.
The CED provides organization, guidance, and supervision of Christian Education of Children, Youth, Young Adults, and Adults at Parker. The CED also oversees Bible Study, Barnabas, the initiation of new members, and the Acolytes.
The Lay Council is responsible for holding quarterly meetings to promote and deepen the spiritual life of the laity of the local church. The Lay Council disseminates information concerning connectional (denominational) lay activities, meetings, conferences and conventions. This council also works to expand and promote the mission of the church. Every member who is not ordained clergy, is considered laity and encouraged to become a part of the Lay Council.
The Usher Board is responsible for the two groups of ushers: Senior and Junior, who share a common purpose in serving God and His people. The Ushers serve as door keepers in the house of God. Ushers help to direct persons to available seats during worship and maintain order and decorum in the worship service.
The Class Leader Ministry is led by the Leader of Leaders. Church membership is organized into Classes. This ministry allows the Class Leaders to serve in a system of sub-pastoral oversight that effectively reaches every member of the Church. This ministry keeps members engaged, connected, and also works to carry out the church’s general financial plan.
This board is made up of consecrated women of the church, who prepare our congregation to receive the Sacraments. They are responsible for securing all the elements necessary for Communion, Baptism and Weddings. The Deaconess Board also visits the sick and needy in the community and extends helping hands when needed.
